THE PREPARATION OF DETAILED DESIGN AND BIDDING DOCUMENTS FOR THE UPGRADING OF A 24 KM. SECTION OF THE E60 BETWEEN IGOETI AND SVENETI
Project Description
The Government of Georgia has received a grant from the International Development Association (IDA) for a Georgian infra-structure pre-investment facility (IPF). The purpose was for as detailed engineering design and preparation of bidding document based on World Bank standards for the 24km section of the E-60 Highway (this section) was between km56 and km80 (Iogeti-Sveniti). The section is located about 56 km. west from Tbilisi and is to be upgraded from a 2 lane to a 4 lane road (see Section on the map under Annex 1).
Project Objective
The design must maximally use the itinerary of the road.

Preparation of draft pre-qualification document (PQD), work plan and time schedule, monthly progress reports, technical reports (geometrical design, pavement design, bridge and structure design, bill of quantity, cost estimate), draft bidding documents. (SBDW), final bidding documents. (SBDW), Resettlement action plan.
